If you are reading this you are looking at the right treatment centre for help this is it! I came in completely confused, physically emotionally and financially gone.  I had tried rehab in Ireland before and it didn’t work for me, I thought I could no longer be helped.  Before I got here I ended up spending my nights living rough on the streets.

I had previously lived in a beautiful home had a great partner had a beautiful son and a wonderful business.  Slowly but surely it all went with my addiction.  I remember being picked up by Chris at the airport, I was just so glad to get into the car and didn’t care where I was going I just wanted help.

It’s the best help I could have got; from my juices in the morning, to group therapy, to one on one counselling, the understanding of the 12 step programme and the great food I have had here.  And not to forget I’m 12 weeks without a bet or drink and to me that’s a miracle.  I couldn’t stop, I didn’t want to stop! 

I would like thank Chris (councillor) Anita (care worker) for helping me go out and face the world and make a better life for myself.  I would like to thank my 2 friends for giving me the opportunity to have these 3 months in serenity house and for being there for me.
